SOLUTRAN SELECTED BY SEVERAL NATIONAL RETAILERS TO IMPROVE CHECK MANAGEMENT

Minneapolis – (July 7, 2004) – Shopko, Chipotle, and Marsh Supermarkets have chosen treasury management service provider Solutran® for their returned-check management and check loss-prevention services. Under terms of the agreement, Solutran will handle returned-check consolidation (RCC) and electronic check re-presentment (RCK) services.   

Solutran’s returned-check management services allow retailers to centralize and electronically process checks that are returned for reasons such as insufficient funds or account closures. By aggregating and accelerating the processing of such checks, retailers reduce the risk of check acceptance by improving check clearing rates and fraud detection.
